BioI'm afraid that this LJ will consume me, overwhelm me, and then leave me with a bunch of entries that I end up deleting when I realize that it's too hard to keep up with. However, I'm going to give it my best shot and blog in both LJ and Xanga. I still haven't decided whether or not the posts will be the same.
I like to read and write a lot. I'm particularly fond of the YA genre, or whatever they want to call it (Bennett Madison says YA is more of a "marketing device" than a genre). It doesn't matter what it is, I like it. If I had a job, a steady allowance, or mound of gold in the basement (if I had a basement), I'd spend most of my income on books. One day, I hope to be included in this grand network of YA authors, but in the meantime, I'll simply read about them, dream about them, and give them comments to feel closer to them. I tried to write a book more times than I can remember, but I have trouble being continually inspired. I've never written an Ending, but I have a ton of Beginnings lying around. They don't amuse me anymore, and this makes my goal of being a SuperCoolYAGirl much less attainable. (Cue slew of sighs.)
